Kris Laidlaw is a Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Aromatherapist and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (HAHA). She was born and raised here in Elkhart, IN. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Ball State University in 1999.
During her education in psychology, Kris began to strongly connect the mind and body and became curious about a career in Massage Therapy. Kris graduated from the Center for Vital Living in Ft. Wayne, IN with a certificate in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She began her career in the salon industry and quickly found herself wanting to do more. Kris began developing a desire to get back into the behavioral health field for some experience and to combine her experiences with Massage Therapy with her education in Psychology. She began searching and after careful thought and planning, Kris made the announcement to her 400 + clients that she would be moving to Phoenix, AZ to work for a residential treatment center for troubled youth.
Her 3 + years in Arizona gave Kris a crash course in behavioral health, management, and the politics of the governing bodies. She experienced Reconnective Healing herself and began to develop a vision for a holistic healing center right here in Elkhart, IN. The vision includes assisting in revitalizing the community which raised Kris and taught her basic values and ethics of life. She put in her notice at the best and most challenging job ever and began making plans to move home. 6 months later she arrived. Less than 2 months after her arrival “Ray of Light Holistic Health” was born. We opened on February 12, 2007. In the past nearly decade of service to our community, Ray of Light has expanded into the building you see today. We have served over 11,000 clients and those numbers continue to grow each day. What a blessing to touch so many people's lives!
You are invited to share in the healing at Ray of Light and development of the vision. Please come in and look around. You never know what you may find interesting or helpful for you or someone you know.

Rhonda Rhose travels with an invisible entourage. She hears and channels spirit guides. Known for an ability to cut through the fog and bring in higher viewpoints, her readings have long been touted as healing for the heart and mind. Rhose’s belief is that most spiritual guidance is an attempt by our soul, or our higher mind, to send us confirmation of our own connection with divinity as well as to provide solutions from outside the box. She has spent the last twelve+ years in an intense, spirit-led workshop exploring our awakening minds; how they work and how they are shifting and expanding, including new ways our soul-mind is working with us to clear the negativity from our ports of possibility. She outlines this process in her new book, Dreaming without Wings. She is also co-author of an older book, Magdalene’s Well, by Saga-Rhose.
Rhose has studied metaphysics, especially in terms of how the spirit world relates to us, the world of form, for the last 40+ years and has provided readings, both channeled and using tarot as a tool of thought-organization, for well over twenty years. Rhose’s ability to bridge the higher-realm concepts with that in our 3-D world will often hold the key to the locked doorways in our lives.
Rhose is at home in Granger, where she is also a certified Past Life Regression Therapist as well as a Reiki Master, but feels as though she is most effective bringing through the information provided by the spirit beings that guide us. She teaches the basics as well as advanced concepts in spiritual awareness and its pragmatic applications in the three-dimensional world.
